 R W Percival are proud to be Funeral Directors in Buxton, one of the most picturesque spa towns in the United Kingdom. The firm are also experienced memorial masons and offer a wide selection of memorials along with undertaking renovations and additional inscriptions.
The business was originally called Websters who were Joiners and Undertakers with their own horse-drawn hearse. In the 1930's Frank Webster who was the son of the founder was joined by his brother-in-law Robert Percival and the business became known as Webster & Percival and later as today R W PERCIVAL.
In 1963 Charlie Belfield joined the business and eventually became the sole proprietor when Bob Percival retired in 1980. At that time Charlie was well known in the area for breeding Shire Horses which he successfully exhibited at local shows. Charlie died suddenly on 31st October 2008, he had conducted a funeral earlier that day.
The business was aquired by the Jepson family in January 2009 and is under the personal supervision of Tom Jepson.
